Pueblo a Pueblo:These are our results thanks to you!"

Thanksgiving Day

"Being thankful can change you from one day to a whole life. You just need to say the words." - Margaret Cousins

There are not enough words to give thanks for everything that has happened in a year. The adjectives of gratitude for the benefits received by the beneficiaries are not enough; but the work and the results achieved through what we have received are our way of saying thank you very much for your support to the People to People Association.

The young people of the youth leadership project are grateful for the support received because they have managed to undertake the sale of yarn in their community. With this 8 young people are generating their first income and benefiting 75 families who are dedicated to weaving. They benefit by buying their yarn without leaving their community, saving with them the cost of travel and time.

Eight young beekeepers were given 5 beehives, protective equipment, received 11 workshops on bee management and 2 manuals with the necessary information on beekeeping. They are deeply grateful for the support and have increased to 2 hives with the divisions made from the same hives delivered since the beginning of the project and are about to start their first crops in the area of San Lucas Tolimán, Sololá.

The eight mothers of the garden project received 9 workshops and a manual containing general information on how to manage an organic garden. The garden was the scene of learning; it also produced the necessary amount of vegetables and medicinal plants for the members, for which they are very happy and grateful for the process.

Our scholarship students are about to leave on vacation. Among their achievements we can highlight 1 student graduating from the . diversified level with a Bachelor's degree in Science and Letters, 8 graduating from the basic level and 6 children graduating from the primary level. Besides being happy they are very grateful for the support received from their sponsors since the basic level has been supported with tuition and educational expenses. The primary level has benefited with access to school supplies and medical services.

In the mother and child project, 76% of the mothers have attended training courses on health and nutrition. It is worth mentioning the graduation of 3 mothers and their children, where medical support is provided to the children and their mothers are educated on health and nutrition issues. Happiness is great and we can only say a thousand thanks.

Happy November 23rd. We celebrate with you by showing you our progress in the different projects and being the bridge between our beneficiaries and you who wish you a happy celebration on this day of grace.
