Mujeres Sembrando la Vida: Strengthening our core

The name Mujeres Sembrando la Vida ~ Women Sowing Life ~ describes our vision of creating economic, educational, health, and environmental opportunities.

We're excited to announce that on June 9th our fundraiser begins. Our goal is to raise $5,000 so we can invest in salaries, lights, internet, website, and transportation so they can grow our business.

MSV is certified by the Fair Trade Federation, so our artisans are paid dignified wages to create modern products with traditional techniques. We're thrilled by all we've been able to accomplish with your help, but at this point we need to pause and strengthen our core in order to sustain our growth into the future. 

Investment in staff and office infrastructure will allow us to expand commercial clients and be able to train and supervise more women who live in nearby villages of (UN-designated) extreme poverty. 

During the 10 days of the fundraiser, we'll share short videos of different artisans talking about their lives and their work in the community.

The artisans have interesting stories to tell, and we'll make it easy for you to click onto our facebook or instagram accounts to see the videos, and hopefully be inspired to donate!
