Natik: Vicky’s first semester is complete

I hope all is well. 

I am sending you this letter hoping that you can help us raise the funds needed to provide a scholarship for our beloved Vicky of the Yo'onik Learning Center. She entered the University in August.  

She recently finished her first semester, and she’s positively glowing. She loves her classes, feels good about all she is learning, is thoroughly enjoying the university scene, and was thrilled that she got a 9.75 GPA for her first semester.  Her 9 in English was the biggest triumph since that's the class that worried her the most!  

It's clear that helping Vicky complete an undergraduate degree is going to make a huge difference in many lives in Zinacantán.   She is a brilliant mathematician, so it's anybody's guess where her talent for numbers will take her. 

For now, we're fortunate that she's happy coordinating the after school educational support program in the Yo'onik Learning Center and supervising the younger scholarship students who tutor the primary school children.
