Traveling Library: We have new graduates
OUR VOLUNTEERS
We are happy to share with you that the school term is over and we know that our library has played a very important role in the lives of the students of Puerta Abierta School.
Knowing that in times of difficulties for the students, books were always at hand to keep them moving forward in different subjects, fills us with pride.
For those students who had difficulties in reading, the library books were key to their reading progress. Also the volunteers played a very important role in the library because to achieve the goal of support they had to dedicate time and work to achieve success. Juana Ramirez, one of the volunteers, dedicated her time every Friday to select the appropriate books and adapt them to the needs of the students.
In the last few months we also had the visit of Elias and Juan Antonio who accompanied Juana every Friday to select books for the students who had reading problems and thus achieving the goal of improved progress.
We are happy that in the end the result has been a success for those students who always needed a book in order to ensure progress and achieve their goal.
