Yo’onik Learning Center: This is how we honor women.

Yo'onik and Women's Day!

This month we have been talking about women's and children's rights in Mexico. This March 8th we celebrated women's day with many activities and teachings.

On this day, we try to make women and girls aware of their rights. Thus, we orient them and reflect on these issues through different talks. It is very important that from the time they are children they learn that violence is never good. 

Although we make them recognize the mistakes of adults, we always cultivate this teaching with love, attention and responsibility, because, for us, education is learned on a daily basis.

Together with everyone, this is how we strengthen our self-esteem and fight for a better world!
