Zinacantán textiles are distinguished with the embroidery of flowers, animals and brocades of geometric figures. One of the main figures found in Zinacantan textiles are the rhombuses (P'ejel in Tsotsil). 

These have various meanings such as the cardinal points, mother earth or their vision of the universe. The most important are the directions east and west because that is where the sun rises and sets. These rhombuses can be found individually or together with other rhombuses or other geometric figures.

For the cooperative Mujeres Sembrando la Vida it is one of the most elaborate figures and can be found in blouses and cushion covers, among others.
