Natik: ED SEPTEMBER 2022: Triple Celebration!

I hope you're enjoying September's collapse into fall! Even in the tropics, the interminable sogginess of September marks a shift to closing out the year and revving up for next year.
Speaking of closing out and revving up, on December 31st we celebrate a triple-whammy: another year around the sun, successful completion of our current five-year Strategic Plan, and (drum roll) the twentieth anniversary of our founding as the International Humanitarian Foundation in 2003.
To get ready for the next five-year plan, Natik’s team has been working internally and with our partners for months. Tomorrow morning, the board will begin sifting through the team’s recommendations and add their own ideas. By Thanksgiving we’ll have a shiny new Strategic Plan that will serve as our collective north star for the next five years.
The overall goals will remain the same: 1. Institutional Strengthening, 2. Social Impact, and 3. Global Impact. Many of the objectives will change because we learned and accomplished so much since 2018.
The 2022 Annual Report will be a special edition to reflect one year, five years, and twenty years. We are excited for the opportunity to tell personal stories and share organizational impact.
Until then, the easy un-crunched truth is that you have contributed to infrastructure that benefits hundreds of lives through programs that provide access to books, love of reading and learning, scholarships, educational tutoring support, health education, and accompaniment for sustainable economic opportunities.
Your generosity increases autonomy of all of our partner organizations, even if you only support one of them. Why? Because Natik's infrastructure is set up to encourage collaboration instead of competition. The fastest path to learning is through experimentation and thoughtful evaluation, so we all benefit from each others' learning curves. That pattern is a genuine win-win-win. Everyone has strengthened budget and reporting savvy, writing skills, social media capacity, and organizational programming and execution.
The 2022 Annual Report will be a special edition to reflect Natik's process and impact from one year, five years, and twenty years through personal stories and organizational impact data.
Because you are at the center of our partners’ success and have witnessed many of changes during the time you've been part of Natik, we’d love to integrate your observations into our visualization and planning for the next five years!
